Pilgrim in the land of the lost
Things to think about, 1) What have you done for the women and children? http://www.ifcanada.ca http://www.samaritanspurse.ca/ http://www.compassion.ca/ http://www.worldvision.ca http://www.freedomvillageusa.com/ http://www.metroministries.org/ 2) "Christ died for men precisely because men are not worth dying for; to make them worth it." - C.S. But I am not what I once was, and by the grace of God, I am what I am. John Newton (ex-slave Captain, turned minister and wrote Amazing Grace) 6) "The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried." - G.K. Chesterton 7) "Merely having an open mind is nothing; the object of opening a mind, as of opening the mouth, is to shut it again on something solid." - G.K. Chesterton 8) Hunger for right!
Christians. Which is your favourite modern Christian song?
I've been listening to a few of the youtube videos tonight and thought I would see what some others thought of them.
Which is your favourite of these?

13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWould you support this world leader?
I was just reading a book on prophecy and it talked about a World leader coming on the scene soon that would.
1) Be very charismatic and a strong leader
2) Would gain the support of a large portion of the worlds population
3) Would be able to negotiate a peace between the Arabs and Israel
4) Would be able to arrange the rebuilding of the Jewish temple at the sight of Solomon's temple.
5) Would implement changes that would result in better conditions in the 3rd world.

Luke 18:15-17 (New King James Version)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=49&ch...
15 Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians: Do you spend much time listening and reading materials from Christian Apologists (defenders)?
One of my favourites is Ravi Zacharius and here is his recent radio presentation "The Anatomy of Faith and the Quest for Reason, Part 2"
http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/Let_My_People_T...
(Can a balance be found between faith and reason? Ravi believes so and shares why in today’s message.)
He spends his time defending Christianity in many palces where there is much hostility such as Universities and internationally.
Do you spend much time listening and reading materials from Christian apologists and if so what are your favourite Christian ministries and apologists?
Here are some other links:

3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians - Which path are are you on? The wide one or the narrow path?
Matthew 7:21-23
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
I listened to this on the radio this morning and this show by Grace to You" talked again about the narrow path (part of their current series). I have been in Churches and believed many things that don't match the Bible until I really started to study the Bible and then to really follow Jesus (still work in progress) Jesus was crucified and promised we would be hated too so the narrow path isn't easy. Take a listen...

So Christians we know the atheist etc. are on the wide and easy path... Are you sure you are on the right path?
