Christians - Which path are are you on? The wide one or the narrow path?

Matthew 7:21-23

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'

23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

I listened to this on the radio this morning and this show by Grace to You" talked again about the narrow path (part of their current series). I have been in Churches and believed many things that don't match the Bible until I really started to study the Bible and then to really follow Jesus (still work in progress) Jesus was crucified and promised we would be hated too so the narrow path isn't easy. Take a listen...

So Christians we know the atheist etc. are on the wide and easy path... Are you sure you are on the right path?

Update:

I really want to see there be a long line going through that narrow door so think about it and listen to your heart and God's leading.

I choose to go onto the long and narrow path(road). Do not go onto the easy, wide path(road) Over the years, the road has been so narrow, that I had to stop and go sideways. But I made it. I then continued on my way. No other way. I had God right along with me , during my turbulant, long and narrow road. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I travel to the Light.

Yes, Matthew 7:13-14 (NIV) Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. `

I imagine I'm on the narrow path because I always feel like I'm going to fall off. And that isn't a joke. God had more than one meaning behind that verse.

I really believe in life you could imagine yourself on a path as you tailor it to be, but in life things change unexpectingly, sometimes we walk a path as wide as the ocean and yet could be free but over whelmed, or we could walk a path so narrow and so long and high as so we cannot keep our balance to stay within its boundaries and as to fall out of line, or we could balance ourselves as a tight rope walker or a surfer....get the picture?

Fortunatly, I am on the narrow path. I go to a independant, fundemental, baptist church, and I believe that we are 100 percent following the bible the way God would have us!

I am definitely on the narrow path. I am reminded everyday when some one show hatred or reject me because of my committed relationship with God.

God has chosen me to follow the narrow right path.

It is the hard way to live but a it is a better, no, the best way.
