I know it's a bit geeky, but which character should I go as for the Harry Potter book release tomorrow?

Question

I'm thinking Luna, Ginny, or Lily.

They're all fairly easy for me to do, I don't mind dying my blonde hair red (just a rinse though, last time I had a permanent color in, I hated it after about a week)

Lily and Ginny are very similar in looks, so if you suggest one of those, I'd like some input into how I can distinguish one from the other (I'll be reading the books again later to get more ideas) I have green colored contacts to play Lily as well, so no problem there.

For Luna, I need ideas on how I can make radish earrings without actually hanging vegetables from my ears.

For all three, I need ideas on the actual clothing side, and possibly make-up. 

I have narrowed it down to these three characters, and have very much decided I'm not dressing up as Hermione - the majority of girls in the queue will be going as her, and I want to be different. Plus I don't want to dye my hair brown (I don't have a problem dying my hair, as you can tell, but I don't like brown)

Go as Luna, her character (both in the books and in the movie) is amazing. For the radish earrings, go to a dollar store or a department store (Walmart, Kmart, something along those lines) and get the hooks for earrings, with nothing on them. Make little balls with a little tuffet out of paper mache, run a string through before it dries and attack it to the hooks. Paint it and there you go, radish earrings.

The cork necklace is easy, get a cork, get string. The clothes can just be kind of out of the ordinary. Where a skirt or something with one really high striped sock and one of them scrunched down a bit with a really bright coloured shirt, perferably matching one of the stripes on the sock and some black robes. Ta-da, Luna. 

Make it outlandish and it'll look great.

I think you should go as Ginny. Just dye your hair really really red. Everyone will know who you are since all the Weasleys are red headed and she's the only daughter.

Go as Lily.  Find a baby doll and draw a lightning bolt scar on it's forehead, and carry it around.  LOL
