You cant get rid of them entirely but you can limit the number of them coming in. They live in decaying plant matter so do a clean/rake up around your house. They are also attracted to white and light so if you have a white front door and a porch light on at night you will find when it rains they seek refuge there. So aside from painting the door just keep the light off at night. If neither of these work im afraid you'll just have to get used to them and keep putting them back outside.

Where do you live that you have millipedes around your house? Maybe you have centipedes? I don't know. Anyhow if you truly have millipedes then leave them alone because they can't hurt you. Just pick them up and move them outside. However, If you have centipedes then bug spray or a hard shoe because they have a nasty bite.
They can't kill you, but they sting.

You aren't sure they're centipedes? Those are the ones I picture everywhere!
Bomb each room with a fogger can. As far as outside, a pet chicken or guinea does a great job!
