Credit card reward...shopping spree?
I got a call yesterday saying that since I am in good standing with my credit card, I have won a $1000 shopping spree. I just have to sign up for 5 magazines and pay for shipping on them and any online purchases that I make. Has anyone heard of this before? Does this sound like something that I should do? Thanks for the advise in advance.

Scam. What's in it for them? No one gives you anything for free. Also, if you give them your credit card number on the phone, you'll find that they'll be using it instead of you, and goodbye to your money.

i got that call too, but i think its a scam so i didn't do it. if you win something, why do you have to purchase or pay something. get it?
