Is there any way to take out the scratches and polish a clear plastic visor?
It doesn't have to be a permanent cure, just something that will last about 3 days.
I tried the toothpaste on a small area, it just made worse. :-( I imagine the chrome polish is probably more abrasive.
After I posted this, I remembered that WD-40 does some wonderfull things. I tried that and it's a little better.

There are polishing compounds out there for plexiglass and Lexan products ~ we purchased ours directly from plastic manufacturers for exhibit use, although it looks like they might also be available from marinas. I did find one link for you :)

You're not going to belive this but try toothpaste. The headlight lenses on my car were begining to get that haze on them and I was told by a fried to try toothpaste and guess what...it worked perfectly! I'm not sure what type of plastic you have but it's worth a try. Good luck!

No , Because plastic is made by melted injection to metal die and shiny surface of plastic is reflected from die to plastic after product been made any scratch or relife object on plastic is unfixable and any polishing will make that worth.
