kodak easyshare camera connection problem?

for some reason, whenever i plug in my camera it dosen't get recognized by my computer. it dosen't even say "device not recognized." any solutions?

    Has it worked before? If you've been successful with your Windows 98Se, XP, Vista, or Mac computer, check the connection. Also, sometimes the answer is as simple as turning the camera on.

    Another solution I highly recommend it getting an inexpensive media card reader. This device plugs into the USB port of your computer and can take various memory cards, making it usable for your camera, your friends' and any camera you may use in the future. Be sure to get one that takes several different memory cards. It will also save your camera's battery and allow you to upload picture files back onto the memory card.
