Fred Thompson: Abortion hypocrite?

Looks like the Republicans have another flip-flopper joining the ranks of presidential candidate.

Goody-goody Thompson was once a paid lobbyist for a pro-abortion organization.

Is he just a plain old liar or typical conservative?

Update:

Coragryph: I appreciate your appeal to rationality, but we're dealing with an ideology that never would extend your generosity to their opponents. The question stands as asked.

Update 2:

To my dearest Kyle D,

To aid in discussions with the administration is liberal PC for 'lobbying the sh*t out of the issue'.

Update 3:

Vote the Issues: Your abilitis as a clarenoyant are dismal at best.

A paid lobbyist is someone who advocates the position of their client. It doesn't mean that the person holds that position themself.

Now, you might think a person should only take jobs where their client's ideological goals match the person's own beliefs. But not everyone has that luxury, especially attorneys.

So, if you want to blame him, blame him for something that he believes, or a vote that he made while in the Senate. Don't blame him because he was working for someone you don't like.

It says he was there to aid in discussions.

Are you just a plain idiot, or are you unable to draw your own conclusions?

People evolve their opinions over time. I'd rather have someone who was not static in their belief.
