Its already open, you havn't closed it correctly, so it should be in your toolbar quick list>>> (next to your clock)

To close right click and click exit

Oh and you double click in on the toobar to reopen it

hi Crissie, when you 'close' Limewire in the normal way, it doesn't close completely, if you open task manager you will see that it is still running, to completely close Limewire find the icon on the task bar, right click on it and then click exit, you will now see it close down. if you have Vista, then you may have a different problem altogether, apparently there are some compatability or security problems with limewire and Vista. take care and good luck.

You could close the program by press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and find Limewire.exe under the Processes tab, select it and click on End Process. Then start the program again.

Please don't "delete" programs. Uninstall them.

Limewire closes to taskbar and runs in the background. you will find it next to your clock. Right click and click on exit. You should see a message that limewire is closing. :)

I have had a problem too. I had it, it stopped working, I deleted it, downloaded it again, and all it does now is flash an hour glass when I click on it, but nothing else.
