Try this:
Take the back off the phone and take the battery out.
Turn the phone up on it's side (any water remaining should come out)
Take a fan (NOT a blow dryer), and allow it to blow across the phone at least over night, or longer if you see moisture under the screen.
If the phone has a SIM card, take that out (carefully), too.
Rub the battery contacts with a qtip - don't leave any lint behind. This should clean them up a bit.
Once the phone is as dry as it can get, replace the battery, SIM card, and cover. Do not turn the phone on yet.
Fully charge the phone.
Turn the phone back on, and check it for functionality.
Hope this helps you...
Good Luck!

ok well this happened to me
but my mom put it in the washer =/
what you have to do is just leave it alone and let it dry out
dont touch it or try to fix it in any way or the phones "insides" will get wet and eventually rust.
It sounds like your problem may not go away though
what I suggest is since there is nothing you can do for the phone, contact your wireless network and ask when you get your next upgrade (normally its after you have had a phone for 2 years) if you are close to the given "upgrade" time you will get a new phone of the same type. (FOR FREE! HOW COOL IS THAT =] )
Sorry about the phone, but hope i could help

Try removing the back cover and battery, then set it under a 100 watt lamp for a few hours. Hopefully this will evaporate all the water out of the case. It may be too late for this, but it's worth a try.

Oh man...
I've put my phone through the washer and recently dropped my new one in the toilet.
In both instances they started working again after I turned them off, let them sit, and put them under a warm light for a couple hours.
You should take it to your carrier and see if they can reset it to its original settings.
