Got a memory block... what was the other money-sending place, like PayPal but different name?
They sort of started at the same time PayPal did... but weren't as successful (probably due to the fact their name was not that memorable and the log-in process was a right pain).
I'm asking cause I know I've still got £10 in my account there.
Thanks.
Thanks but no... not netsender or moneybookers.
I will recognise it when I see the name.
Thanks bambam - nochex is it. Thanks.

They are still running... but since paypal was bought by ebay they have become definitely the preferred payment method.

It's not a scam if you know the person who sent you the money or you sold them an item through an online auction. I don't know why everyone is freaking out here, Paypal is a completely legitimate website. You can transfer the money to your checking account using the links within your Paypal account (use only these links!) If you start using Paypal more often, you can sign up for a Paypal debit card, but they take 3% of all of the funds you receive. Also, transferring the money directly to your checking account takes 3-5 business days. Weekends and holidays don't count as business days, so if you try to transfer the money any later then Tuesday or so, you probably won't get it until Monday.

Search for "Payment Gateways" and that will list all the on line payment systems available.
