My daughter is dieting and exercising an hour a day and has reached a plateau. She was wondering...?
if what I heard was true. I belonged to Weight Watchers and a young girl had the same complaint. She was working out an hour a day. The WW leader told her when you are in the weight loss process you should only work out 1/2 hr per day. Any one know anything about this?

Need to make sure she changes up her routine. If she always does quads then hamstrings and then squats and then does her arms she needs to find out what else she can do, to make it different. She may be bored and not giving her 100% but her muscles know what to expect and so they don't *fire* all the ligaments. She as she knows what is next so do her muscles.

I belong to a low carb message board and plenty of people have posted about having a stall during weight loss. Most people get past a stall by changing up what they are doing. Say she's consuming 1200 calories a day.. she should up her calories to say 2000 for a few days. It might seem drastic but it will put her body into shock. People hit stalls because their body adapts to what they are doing. Exercise-wise, she should try lifting weights, whether it's circuit training or just using free weights. Lifting weights builds muscle and muscle burns calorie all throughout the day even when you're resting.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

If your daughter is comfortable working that much and is happy with it, then that is totally great. She may need to bump her points down a touch OR increase the difficulty of her exercise. If you choose the latter, then maybe 45 minutes rather than an hour.

what number energy do you many times consume? perhaps attempt somewhat of having a cheat day, purely a cheat meal or a lil manage each and every day like a a hundred calorie freddo or something. perhaps attempt exercising consultation 5 days each week or enhance intensity... on no account do weight lifting every day... you are able to desire to go away a minimum of one million day inbetween working muscle communities as to no longer tear the muscular tissues too lots and fix them extra advantageous.
