Harry Potter #7 - primarily for yog2541?

I've read enough of the book to be willing to eat crow and admit that you are probably correct about the rest of your predictions as well. But I have to say two things.

One: I think it's a shame that you felt the need to post who dies simply because you could.

Two: I also think it's a shame that deepdiscount.com felt that they were in the right to send out the book early and I hope that they are penalized. Authors and publishers pick release dates for a reason, primarily for marketing purposes and they are within their rights to do so. We may not like it, but that's not the point.

Finally, while knowing that information isn't spoiling the enjoyment of reading the book for me (I want to know HOW the things happen-not just that they do - and there is more to the story then who dies and on what page)...that isn't true for others and I think it's pathetic that you felt it was okay to ruin the enjoyment others may have found in the book just because you could.

Update:

Oh and by the way...the same comments go for anyone who posted spoilers (especially true ones) prior to the book release and for those who sold/delivered the book prior to the scheduled release date.

Update 2:

Yes I directed it to a specific person...their information wasn't in response to questions and it was before the book came out...that was my issue. And, I know that on a public forum you have to expect that others will spoil things, but I don't have to like it! :)

I know that you are directing this at a specific person, but several people on this forum have been asking pointed questioned as to who dies, what happens, etc. So people are answering the questions, me included. I purposely sat and read the entire book before I came onto Answers to avoid reading anything that I did not want to. You have to expect, when on a public forum, that people are going to either want to spoil it for others or will answer questions put to them honestly.

I also agree with you. I think Yog2541 is just one heck of a smart-alecky type of person, craving for attention. Much like Hermione in the first book before she learned to mellow! Insufferable know-it-all.

But since he's attention deficient, let's give him (or is it her?) that few days of superiority over the rest of us.

Exactly why I stayed away from the Internet and people trying to spoil it for me while I was reading.
