All motion is relative. Since you don't feel a force when moving at a constant velocity, it is indistinguishable from the rest state. The only way you know you are moving is to observe another object that is not moving when you are. But then the question is how do you know you are not at rest and the other object is moving? Answer is you can't because their is no force.
