does anyone know of any lakes/ponds that are good fishing spots in the south subs. or northwest indiana? small and big mouth bass, carp, river cat etc.

Lake Michigan. Kankakee river (caught my first fish on the Kankakee about 40 years ago)

Neer chicago or clevend there is lake erire which is fantastic for fishing and is much fun for the whole family.
