Yahoo messenger says no permission to view web cam?

I want to be able to set up a webcam for my husband to be able to see our daughter play when he's away from home. It gives the message you do not have permission to view webcam no matter how I set the preferences. Allow all, allow just him, or require permission..... I never get a message to ok him seeing it.

I have done art demonstrations before our daughter was here and on another older computer and people were able to view this camera. (it's a logitech quickcam)

Update:

It says you have invited (my hubby) to view your webcam, but he gets the no permission message.

Is there another way to invite them to watch it?

thanks

Update 2:

It turned out that the problem was the network he was on has a firewall that made it not work.

    1. Just send an invite to view.

    2. Unfortunately you have to send an invite

everytime you log in to yahoo messenger.
