How glad are you to see the arrogant Stern face this ref crisis?
This smug prick acts as though he is the sole reason for the success of the NBA throughout the '80s and '90s. I have despised him for maybe ten years myself. Any stuff that has rankled you during his tenure as comissioner, like trying to shove the composite ball down the throats of the league, would be entertaining. I know there is a lot of material out there.

He certainly made sure that he was seen as low key and humble today, didnt he? The thing that has bothered me about him the most is his desire for expansion, and for allowing the scouting process to include high schoolers; i don't know how many high schoolers would have skipped college unless some honcho was letting them know about all the NBA money they would be losing by going to college. The league needs fewer teams, not more, and we don't need them in Europe or China.

not really. i dont care for him but he has the right to be arrogant because well basically he has been the better commissioner compared to paul tag(i know he isnt the commish anymore) and bud selig.
at least this arrogant man isnt afraid to tell his players whats up. they should dress nice at work (suited up when they cant play)
besides this can really hurt the nba if the train of thought is refs cheating in the past and the future. NHL anyone? what station are they on now? ....vs? ya i think thats it. do you really want the NBA to become NHL the 2nd? i dont.
hate the guy but he is still the better commissioner. his steroid policy is better then the mlb and unlike paul tag he wasnt afraid to suspend anyone and unlike the new commish Roger Goodell, Stern doesnt play favorites and gives a star like Vick a break when he suspends other players like pacman....either suspend them all or dont!. whether is artest, stephen jackson, nate robinson, or a star like carmello anthony he doesnt care if your a bench warmer or a star. if you mess up he will punish you.

Ya. Too bad he didn't own any of it. For years, he's always arrogantly answered questions of integrity of the game as obsurd. Now, it's actually happened. As if basketball's eyes weren't black already, but now the sport will be mentioned with MLB and "Berroid" and the NFL with "Ron Mexico" and the "Bad News Kennells". Own it Stern...you are just as guilty as Bud Selig. It happened on your watch.
