Pre-Law Programs?
What is it like being in a pre-law program? Are the LSATS super hard? i was thinking of asking a district attorney to take me around with them on a typical day of activities... how challenging is a legal education? is it more writing oriented or do you have to know every detail of the law to be successful?

Go to your local library and sign out an LSAT prep book.
You have to be able to reason well, you have to be able to retain legal detail and you have to be able to write well. Check out the writing section of the SAT or ACT in a prep book.

Are the LSATS hard -- yes. They are intended to weed out the people not capable of getting a law school education.
As to your other questions -- you don't need to know every law written - laws fall into different categories known as "practice areas" and you only need to know your practice area in depth -- unless you are going to practice in several areas which some attorney's do.
If you are not a great student, then you are not cut out for the life. Most attorneys are well above average intelligence.

pre-law offers lots of classes that require lots of writing. That said there really isn't a course in pre-law. It all depends on you. If you want to reinforce yourself your intellect before entering law school. Schools are really looking for high to medium scores. The higher the better.
The Lsats require a lot of discipline on your part. It consist of logical reasoning, reading comprehension , logical games, writing. Remember any school you end up going to will make you will indeed make u a lawyer.
Good luck!
