i just bought a fax machine and need a fax number.do i create one or is one given to me?
i bought a fax machine for my home to use for personal reasons. once i finish putting it together,i i was asked to put in my fax number along with house number and name. it doesn't say anything about me creating one them giving one. what should i do?

The house number is also your faxnumber. You CAN get a number from the telephone company which you use only for the fax.

Did you connect it to your telephone line?
The telephone line number you use is also your fax number. Input that number to your fax machine so that it can print out that number at the receiving end when you send a fax. You may also leave those information blank.

you just cant install and start using fax ...you have to call your telephone company they will activate the fax service and can be used on the same number you already have or may be they will give you a new number ..first contact the phone company ...
