Why do my Yahoo! Answers emails come from Yahoo! Answers India?

Note the difference between these two sites ... check your header ...

In the lower right panel ... CLICK "Show USA Answers".

In the bottom panel ... CLICK the USA flag.

ADDED: OK, glad you got the flag icon working -- I didn't think your problem was that easy. Additional details are needed on your question. Emails *from* India look like this ... sally@yahoo.co.in

Where are you clicking on an email that takes you to the Y!A website of ... in.answers.yahoo.com ... when I click on an email I stay within my email system. See the previous answer below ... hope we are getting closer.

I am really sorry for answering your question in this manor since I have no clue as to why this is happening to you. The question simply struck me as so very typical of the way things are done in our country, and I felt compelled to respond. One of the many thing that continue to baffle me completely for most of my adult years has been,, why, when I snail mail a letter from Wichita Falls,Texas to Dallas,Texas does it get routed through Denver, Colorado first. it is just one of those thing that we fail to understand where the logical connection is.

I receive the emails from Yahoo India, Australia, Indonesia, and the U.S..

UPDATE: Post a message to the forum at http://suggestions.yahoo.com/?prop=answers so that Y/A staff can look at this bug (if it is one). You may want to search there to see if a solution has already been presented or the issue already discussed though.

You might have first signed up/signed in/answered a question/asked a question on the india portal of y! or y! answers. I wouldn't worry about it.

Perhaps a routing issue ?

i couldn't pull that up but that doesn't sound right. you should contact yahoo...i bet it's scam emails

look at the bottom of this page and press u.s. it might have screwed up.
