emo hair????

I'm not emo or preppy- but I totally understand about the whole "scene hair" It's fun, it's funky and it sounds like their must be alittle of that in you if you want to express that physically- remember, your not a poser- and it's just hair. Cut and dye it all you want IT GROWS BACK! It's really great. I've had a fo-hawk (my hair was blonde-with teal highlights- I got sooooo many compliments)- which I dunno if you could pull off if your still in highschool though- but if you are gutsy enough to do it, than do it! After that I decided to switch it up and cut my hair short and have it like a bob on one side and get longer on the other. I died it darkest brown and it was super cute! I think you already have a bit of scene look to you as it is (it is the style now-a-days) so I'm totally sure you could pull it off. It really just depends on what you want to say with the artistic nature of your body and having the confidence to pull it off!

It's when you get the really unconventional hair cut that you start doing fun, cutsy, funky things. So I say- have some guts and go for it! Just choose a style that you like and think would look good on you!

well from the picture u sent me u could def pull it off, but it is a big change, but u could do black hair, but just make sure u protect it because a know alot of people at my school that had gorgeuos hair, and then once they did the emo thing with it, their hair basically is dead now, and they might as well just shave their heads and start over! lol... dont be one of those people, cuz from the looks of you in your pic u have very healthy hair, and you are lucky to have the hair you have!!! and dont do the cut where u cut off the top layer of your hair and then poof it. so many people i know do that and they look like a damn cockatoo!!! good luck girl here is the link:

I think emo hair is a great way to make your preppy look more trendy. However, you want to make sure it's the right kind of cut. This site will help you determine what kind of cut works for you.

You'll look like a poser. People in my little sisters school try to pull off the preppy emo look, and in the end they kinda look stupid.

of course you can hair is hair, im look at rihanna, ive never seen anyone else with that hairstyle other than emo kids! and i use to be into the whole goth thing, but im not now, but i still have black hair (i cant get rid of it ) but ppl rarely see me in black now

well you dont look emo really....just because you have side bangs with a dark color hair...doesnt mean its emo hair [im NOT SAYING I DONT LIKE IT] butttt its not emo and it looks fine lol

i think your hair looks great now. but why not try it if you want. just don't get it cut to an extreme, that way if you don't like it you can get it re-cut or just style it differently.

i don't know why you would want to cut your hair shorter than is already is. you would have a boy hair cut then
