What are good games to play at a 50th birthday party of a close relative?

My dad is turning 50 and I would prefer decent games that families can play.

Blessed had the same idea that I had. I went to a shower once that played that game and it was fun finding out who knew the guest of honor the best. You'll be surprised to find out some people that you thought wouldn't know much did and vice versa. You could ask schools attended, past girlfriends names, pet peeves, favorite pet, childhood pets name, fav color, fav food, etc. Be creative based on the open-mindedness of your dad and guests. HAVE A GREAT TIME AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DAD !!!!!!!!!

I just had a 40th birthday party for my sister in law. I had a safari theme. We said we were on a safari looking for her "Lost Youth". I order a bunch of stuff from Oriental Trading Company on line (jungle hats, animals, banners, etc.)

I found games by googling on line. We games for the kids, like a roaring contest. You can put the names of animals on people's backs and they have to gues them by asking other people questions that can only be answered yes or no. We had animal "tattoos" and face painting.

We had an animal pinata. We had a big barbecue dinner. PEople said it was a really fun party that combined adults and kids and I agree, it was fun. Tons and tons of planning, money spent, work, etc.

Before the party, ask your dad to make a list of all

his favorite things......color, car, food, drink, pants,

place to vacation, etc. At the party see how many

people know your dad well enough to answer them

    correctly.
