System information after downgrade from vista to xp?
Okay, so I brought an Acer Aspire T690 that come with an Ati Radeon X1550 graphics card which is 128mb with shared memory to 256mb, and the processor is Intel Core 2 Duo E4300, which is 32bit right. and it came with vista. I downgraded it to xp. and installed the video driver, and it said the graphics card has 512mb memory. wtf?!, and i installed TuneUp Utilitie and run the system optimizer. and it said my cpu is 64bit and recomend me to upgrade to 64bit. wtf?! is this right or is there something wrong with the drivers or something.
Yeah it was a clean install, but i used quick format though.
ya i and used the ati driver not acer.
Oh! okay thanks! the core2 is 64bit. i always thought it was 32bit lol.

Did you perform a clean install (Re-partition & Re-Format Hard drive in FAT32) and then install Windows XP Pro?
Also, make sure you download the video driver from ATI, not Acer.
