man more you dive into philosophy more you understand that everything was created according to pure logic. Universe itself is pure logic and mathematics

Mmm, sort of. I would not use the word 'religion' -- or even theism. I think I'd just say that depth in philosophy bringeth minds about to ... the shallowness of philosophy. Er, the failure of religion is obvious; the failure of atheism is subtle; but both do fail, under enough candlepower.

I think that there are more important things to worry about than if there is a god or no god..... like you could develop a philosophy to help discover a cure for aids, parkinsons disease or cancer..... what do you think of this quote... "throughout history, mystery has brought us nothing but misery, more people have died in the name of the lord than any natural disaster, disease or gangwars" simple song lyrics sung by Nelly.... Simply this search for where did we come from has never been solved, never will be solved until the day we die... We should all focus our energy on things that really matter. I know people will take offence to this but it's just my opinion and everyone is entitled to have one.

Philosophy is broadening of the mind, a search for enlightenment and the ultimate enlightenment is why do we exist?

There must be a purpose or reason for our existance and Philosphy is the search for that reason. Thus Philosopy can lead you down either path but ultimately will lead you to the search of where did we come from in the first place.

Reminds me of how Milton had the demons invent philosophy in "Paradise Lost" They only spoke for their vanity. If one is seeking truth then it will lead to Christ. If one is attempting to elevate vanity through meaningless chatter, it will lead away from Christ.

I think a little molecular biology would have broughteth Mr. Bacon's mind back.
