how do I uninstall Windows Me?

I installed Windows XP and now when I turn on my computer it makes me choose which OS to start up (and thats taking up WAY too much space on my computer.) I had Windows Me previously so obviously thats the OS i'm looking to remove... now, how do I do it?

    You need to format your drive using the XP disc. then carry out a fresh installation.

    How patient must you be to put up with ME all this time, sorry but ME is total PANTS, even Microsoft apologised for it, however I dont remember them offering any refunds !

    Reformat the hard drive then reinstall XP
