Family Definition?

Family are people who have been in your life and will always be in your life regardless of what is going on between you. We have friends that we have known for 31 years. My dad worked with my "uncle" which is how we all meet. They are more like family than some of my blood relatives. I don't think just being related by blood or marriage is the only thing that makes you a family. People who are in your life because they choose to be and make it known that they aren't going anywhere are family too.
