What happened to the guy from the Last Dragon movie? Bruce Leroy?????

I love the movie the Last Dragon and I thougth Bruce Leroy was so handsome. I haven't seen him in any movies- well any well known movies that I'm aware of....Anybody got any ideas of what he's doing?

    OMG...for so long I thought I was the only one who ever saw that damn movie..

    It was a great movie..I loved it..

    Taimak Guarriello played Bruce Leroy in 'The Last Dragon.' He later appeared as the lead male in Janet Jackson's "Let's Wait Awhile" music video, Debbie Allen's "Special Look" video and on the TV show A Different World. Taimak has also worked with celebrities such Madonna. He also starred and then was fired in a play that toured the United States called "Cheaters" opposite a large cast of African-American stars. Taimak has appeared in the 36 Crazyfists Music video "Bloodwork" dressed as a White Ninja. He also stars in the movie "The System Within". Taimak used to co-own a gym that went out of business on the east side of Manhattan in New York city called "Fitness Concepts".

    I can't believe I came across this question! I swear seconds before I came across another question asking about favorite movies. I started to click it and answer The Last Dragon but decided to try another page, and came straight to this!! I love you people! lol. I literally watched this movie nearly 100 times when I was little. I was 5 or 6 and ABSOLUTELY in love with Taimak (and LL Cool J- My husband looks like them both ;*) My husband bought me the DVD a couple Christmases ago and I have been recruiting new fans since. I wanted to play First Time on a Ferris Wheel at my wedding! (the song where they're wearing white at the end).

    Thanks again! Just had to share for a minute. lol.

    the leroy green aka bruce leroy was "taimak" he also did alot of videos most noteably let's wait awhile starring janet jackson in the mid-90s.

    he really hasnt done much since the 80's-- its a shame cuz i loved that movie too.... i taped it on hbo and i STILL have it...... makes me want to watch it again:P
