Would you be piss off if you found out....?
Would you be piss off if you found out after coming home, that your parents-in-law rearranged your living room. Moving the tv, coffee table, audio systems around?
And what would you do?
Actually, they made it worst. The sofa chair look out of place. The xbox was disconnected. The cable tv was loose.
And I had to put everything place.

No matter what you do, parents will be parents. If it bothers you that much say something (in a nice way). Remember you ca always rearrange it back the way you want it. Good luck!

I think they are making a statement which is that they don't respect you and after all, isn't it their son's house. What shocks me the most is that most women would never do that to another woman. Your home is your domain. aside from being extremely rude and thoughtless, they really are telling you what they think of you. They are just using the furniture instead of words. I would set the record straight with them. They are absolutely forbidden from ever doing any such a thing again. If you let this go, you are telling them that it's OK and you will have lost complete control. it's your home and your taste. Stand up for yourself.

i'd be very pissed off, and i'd put everything back where it was and not invite them around for a period of time. or go to their house and start randomly misplacing their belongings, but just for the fun move their dentures or something they are really attached to.

I'd very nicely tell them that they were probably just trying to help, but you liked things the way they were. Tell them to ask you next time if they want to change something that affects you.
...Okay, that's what you should do. I'd do lots of yelling. lol

I'd be furious! I'd tell them that I was going to turn around and leave and when I came back everything had better be back exactly the way it was or they'd never be welcome in my home again.

depends...if they made it look better and cleaner then I be thankful but if it turned out worst and threw out alot of my belongings then I be so mad and I would have them either move things the way I had it before or tell them they are not welcome in my house anymore.
