Beautiful mountains with lots to do, hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, in the summer.
Snow skiing, snowmobiling, etc in the winter.
Great cultural things to do, symphony, lots of plays, that sort of thing.
Lots of great things to do with family but also fun places to go party to if that's what you want.
Some really great people. (not everyone is nice but that's true no matter where you go)
Housing costs are pretty reasonable compared to other cities.
Unemployment rates are among the lowest in the country I believe.
Crime rates are fairly low.
Lots of great vacation spots withing a reasonable distance.
Park City 1 hr
Wendover Nevada 1 1/2 hrs (casinos)
Moab/Arches Natl Park 4 hrs
Zion Natl Park 4 1/2 hrs
Las Vegas 7 hrs
Denver/Rocky Mtn Natl Park 8 hrs
Jackson Hole Wyoming 5 hrs
Yellowstone Natl Park 7 hrs
Cons -
Some consider the snow a con but it's not that bad. It doesn't snow that much and the temp doesn't usually get to cold.
