If great American leaders came back to life & criticized the Iraq war, what would the Republicans say?

I think they would wonder why we got involved in a war without being attacked first.(minus Kennedy, he was after) If you look back in history America use to be a country that stayed out of other countries affairs, only helping once in a while.

I think Lincoln would be very upset that this country, the one he fought so hard to stay together, was being divided among red and blue states. Washington, who hated political parties and had the best and the brightest in his cabinet (not all people from his ideology), would be upset that we were letting political parties get in the way of solving our problems. The fact is I don't think that our past presidents would appreciate what either side is doing because we are not communicating as a whole country.

Side note: To the person who stated Liberals hate history, that is completely not true and it shows that you obviously haven't met any or maybe you don't know your history.

Only other great leader would be Abe Lincoln, he would agree with President Bush. Also Abe Lincoln would have called Bill Clinton a coward, and a weak President for not protecting the USA from the many attacks we have had while he was in office. Abe Lincoln would have put Bill Clinton up for treason. Our Fore fathers would have hung Bill Clinton on the spot!!

I'm afraid that even if you could get your wish for them to come back, you would not get your wish for the type of criticism you would be expecting. at least two of your examples committed similar mistakes and the others would only criticize that the force available has not been used efficiently. some of them would probably go so far as to say, blow the whole middle east to kingdom come, I would be willing to bet.

They were God-fearing Men!!! And they believed in defending our Freedom, by any means necessary to protect it.

So, your question is a rhetorical one, in that, you assume them as "Cowards" when they were not, BELIEVE ME, If 9/11 had've a happened during the Founders time, Iraq would probably not be where it is right now, there would be no Iraq.period.

Republicans would be the ONLY ones who would listen to the founding fathers.

Liberals consider them old bigoted slave-owning pigs. Liberals hate America history.

But in reponse to your question, what would the founding fathers think about the fact that liberal-supported legislation is responsible for the deaths of 1 million American babies....

Our leaders never had any use for traitors who surrendered, and then supported our enemies, like the Democrats do.

JFK always hated Draft-Dodgers like Clinton. And he also hate Traitors.

Then they would say don't cry we've been trying to hold back the government but the liberals were in power for most of the 20th century.

They would say..."you died along time ago how is this possible?"...then they would say..."wow, seriously you did die along time ago right?"

Democrats would say "who are those right-wing lunatic apparitions?" And would go on CNN to claim that the Republicans are trying to call up Hitler's ghost.

If they don't even listen to the people who elected them, why in the world would you think they'd listen to them?
