My dog is a fighter?!?
My dog was playing with me and i acted like i would swat her and she stood on her hind feet and hit me with her paw. She does this with alot of other animals she has encountered. The catch is she is a labrador mix shepherd? How is it possible? Thats why i thought she had pitbull on her
actually i didnt assume she was a mean dog. I jus know PITBULLS are among few dog breeds that natural instinct is fighting. It could be a boxer. IDK

She sounds adorable, a real hit, no pun intended. To stand on her hind feet and box with you like that? How cute is that? It doesn't sound like she's vicious, you didn't mention any growling or biting. I'd go with it, take her to Jay Leno or something.
Standing on hind legs gives her height and makes her feel dominant, but the paw swat...I can't believe you call this fighting. It's PLAY!

My chihuahua's do the exact same & they are pure breed, I have the paper work for them. Instead of sayibg she has pittbull in her & that she is a fighter, just think oh wow my dog is playing & hitting me back like a human. LEAVE the poor pittbulls alone.

First of all, it is rediculous to think a dog is part pit bull only because a dog is aggressive. That is how pit bulls get a bad reputation. People see a mean dog and automatically think 'Pit Bull.'
But your dog isn't being aggressive, she is just playing. Just keep playing with her. If her paws are hurting you with her paws, then train her to keep her paws down when she is playing.

This is typically how dogs play. She is probably just playing with you. Is she attacking you? Biting you hard? Growling? I don't think this is anything to be concerned about unless she is trying to draw blood and attack.
