2002 pontiac grand am ???

a 2002 grand am works fine. i shut off on a hot day and won't start, can't hear fuel pump or ne thing. just cranks fails to start. sits for a while and attempts to start a sucess, fires up. what can i cheak an or what is the problem? thanks for reading and serious answers plz!

    you need to check to see how much fuel pressure you have it takes about 60 pounds to keep the system working right

    sounds like vapor lock
