Games are running slow with Vista?

Hi, my brand new laptop should be handling these games fine, although they are being a bit slow on me.

My computers specs are:

Model: Dell Inspiron 1501

RAM: 2GB

HDD: 120GB

CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 (TL-60) 2.0GHz

Video Card: ATI Radeon® Xpress 1150

Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium

So the games should run fine with those specs. I have also upgraded my video card drivers. Any help guys?

    it is because windows vista takes up allot of ram and uses more of your processor than xp likw windows dream scene and all of the graphic things it does.
