What's a good first date?

Hi everyone, I am 19 yrs. old and broke up 6 months ago with a guy I had been dating for 4 yrs who had been my first boyfriend.  He had cheated on me twice so it was a pretty bad breakup.  Anyways, I have moved on and am very interested now in this other guy who I met through a friend.  We have been talking on IM for about 2 weeks and have had a couple phone conversations.  He lives an hour away but he says he is really interested in coming up and meeting my family and then spending some time with me.  The only problem is I have no clue what would be a good first date.  My last boyfriend and I never really went out and did things much because he was more the type of guy to stay home and cook dinner and watch a movie, so I am so clueless on what to do!  Any ideas?

Go somewhere where you can get to know him better but yet have it be somewhere where you don't feel like your the only ones.  Don't go to the movies because you can't really talk in the movie theatre.  Just go somewhere familiar and someplace where you can talk.

My personal favorite go to a movie theater. Once the movie is done you and ur guyfriend have the movie to talk about. Do you and your friend have the same intrest?? If you guys like sports then some kind of sports game. Are you both into art then go to a musem. One thing i would not suggest is going to the club on your first date cuz u might drink a lil to much and get tipsy and make a fool of urself. Have fun enjoy life that is what is  important life.I hope i helped u out a little

THe movies are ideal cause that way you can spend time with out talking to much so you dont **** it up.
