  • Will I ever stop loving him?

I broke up with my boyfriend 3 yrs ago. We had dated for 4 years and had been engaged. He was also my first boyfriend and my first love. However, we ended up breaking up because he cheated on me. Regardless of all that, after three years I still love him. We go to the same college still and I see him occasionally but we never talk because he is dating someone else. I want to stop having feelings for him but I can't make myself stop. Will these feelings ever end? Will I ever forget him? How do I move on from this?

  • How far should I go to make others happy?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months. He is a loving, hard-working, very supportive guy. However, he comes from a broken home, and we don't ever go to his house because he doesn't like the drama, the yelling, and the manipulation that happens. Also, my boyfriend has a heart problem that he must be careful about. The health issue and his family life have never bothered me but they really upset my parents.

We are thinking about getting engaged and my parents think there is someone out there who is better for me. They don't think he is a bad guy, but they think I could be with someone better who doesn't have to worry about his heart and his family all the time. How do I get my parents to accept my boyfriend? I don't want to disappoint my parents by marrying this guy but I dont' want to leave him just because my parents think I could do better. What should I do?

  • How to put myself out there again?

OK well I dated a guy almost 4 and half yrs, all through highschool and into college but he ended up leaving me for another girl. After that I slipped into depression and have finally started to get better (its been a year and half since the break up). He had been the first guy I had ever dated and loved so I am not sure how to go about putting myself on the dating market again. I don't go to bars or clubs so I don't really know how to get guys to notice me. Any advice for someone who is trying to get themselves back out in the dating world?

  • Does this mean we are meant to be together? Please HELP!!?

My ex- boyfriend left me 1 and half years ago for another girl. About 9 months ago he tried getting back in contact with me but I refused to talk to him because I still had feelings for him ( I still do) and I didn't want to make things complicated. He kept sending me cards and emails every once in a while telling me he had something important to tell me. Well, I ran into him the other day and he we started talking. It was really nice and I could tell that we still have a connection like we did when we were dating. (We dated for 4 years). Anyways, he all of a sudden told me he still loved me and didn't know why he broke up with me. He said he was really confused at the time and he should have never left. He would come back to me now but he doesn't want to hurt the girl he is with just like he hurt me to be with her. Should I believe that he really loves me? If he leaves this girl should I date him again? Even though I love him, do you think it would be possible to trust him?

  • online dating?

I am 20 yrs. old and haven't been in a relationship for awhile. I just can't seem to meet the right guy, and plus since I don't go clubbing or go to bars I don't even get to meet that many guys. Do you think online dating would be something that would be worth my time? Or is that too lame?

  • Why do guys do this?

Ok so I when out with this guy for 4 yrs. One day he just up and left me and the next week I found out he had a new girlfriend. Needless to say, I was extremely hurt because he had always promised I'd be the only girl for him. So anyways its been about 11 months since we broke up. The other day he called me up and said he wanted to talk and apologize for hurting me. I met with him and he told me that he still loved me and doesn't know why he left me. I got really excited because I still loved him and really wanted to get back together with him. However, the next day I find out that he is still with the girl he left me for and he has not intention of leaving her. Why tell me you love me then and get my hopes up when you aren't going to do anything about it. All he did was break my heart all over again. Why would any guy do this?

  • Which guy should I choose?

Ok here is my situation. There are these two different guys who are both somewhat interested in me, but I warned both of them that I am just interested in meeting new people and then possibly going into a relationship a little later down the road. I have been talking to both of them for a month or so. I met guy A through common friends from around my house even though he lives an hour away, and I met guy B through my college. Guy A who is extremely attractive and shares a lot of things in common with me, took me out on a date on Saturday. Although our conversations were a little disjointed and awkward we still had a great time together and he asked me out again. Well guy B knew about my date and although he didnt' get upset cause we aren't going out or anything he did tell me he felt jealous. Guy B, who deffinitely isn't as cute as guy A, still is amazing though. We can talk for hours and hours but we haven't gone out on a date. How do I choose which guy I want to be with?

  • Would you date a guy who you knew would die in a couple years?

Ok this guy and I have been talking online and through email for about two weeks. I met him through a friend so we have actually never met in person but we talk and go on webcam with each other every night. I really really like him but we both agreed to take things slow and not rush into a relationship real fast because we both have been hurt pretty badly in the past. Well today in one of his emails he asked, "If you knew I was going to die in a couple years would you still want a relationship with me?" He told me not to worry because everythng is fine but he was just curious to hear what I would say. The problem is that I don't know what to say at all! Yes I like him a lot and he is amazing but its only been two weeks and I don't know if I love him enough to be able to handle that. How should I respond to him? I really like this guy and don' t want to lose him.

  • What's a good first date?

Hi everyone, I am 19 yrs. old and broke up 6 months ago with a guy I had been dating for 4 yrs who had been my first boyfriend. He had cheated on me twice so it was a pretty bad breakup. Anyways, I have moved on and am very interested now in this other guy who I met through a friend. We have been talking on IM for about 2 weeks and have had a couple phone conversations. He lives an hour away but he says he is really interested in coming up and meeting my family and then spending some time with me. The only problem is I have no clue what would be a good first date. My last boyfriend and I never really went out and did things much because he was more the type of guy to stay home and cook dinner and watch a movie, so I am so clueless on what to do! Any ideas?
