It depends...... elite?:
getting it because of the colour?
Not a good idea since you can just get yourself some faceplates from www.decalgirl.com or even the whole cover from other retailers
getting it because of hard drive?
Well good, but since amazon.com sell 120 gig hard-drive you could get pro and once the space is over then get a 120 gig off amazon.com
getting it because of HDMI?
Good idea, but it just improves the sharpness slightly...
Conclusion:
Get the pro version its a better deal ;)

Check on your tv if you have component then you could get the pro but if you have HDMI you should get the Elite because you will get a (hardly noticable) better picture a 120 GB hard drive and a nice black finish on your console which I think looks RAD.If you will be downloading lots of movies,demos,music.....etc. get the elite or get the pro and the 120GB hard drive

it does make a difference.but you bother only if you have a hdtv.the main difference is the 120 gb hard drive.it has been upgraded for people who spend more time on xbox live and download more stuff.otherwise the performance and everything's same

Neither. Get the basic one. Still the same as the other two, except to HD and no extra memory.

Elite has slightly more sharper resolution, but a much bigger hard drive...
It all depends on how stuff you plan on downloading.
