How do I set up a Nintendo Entertainment System on my tv?

I just ordered one of the original Nintendo systems off of ebay but I realize I'm not plugging it in correctly to my computer. Can anyone tell me, in layman's terms, what I need and how do I set it up on my tv?

    well, the easiest way is to use an A/V cable. (audio/video).

    just connect the color-coded cables to the TV and NES and it is done.

    but if you can find one, there is also the RF connector that goes through the cable port.
