NAACP and Mike Vick?
Do you think the NAACP is doing more harm than good by speaking out about Vick?
What I mean is the evidence is overwelming that he is guilty.
Dead dogs in the back yard, friends ready to testify against him. They are worried about him getting a fair trial, won't his mega-millions insure that?
Don't they realize that there public perception and credability are on the line here?
The man made a very big mistake how is it racial?

If there is so much evidence then why wasn't he indited on a local level? there was not enough evidence. The feds picked it up after that. If the federal government will drop your charges for you to drop a dime on someone else more then likely you will do it. These witnesses cant be Innocent other wise they wouldn't have been at the dog fight. These are trumped up charges. I fault him for stupidity, he should've known better. When your black and rich you have to watch every aspect of your life. Some people want to see you fail, and will make sure you do. Stay smart. We see who's posting this message screaming oh he's rich. But weather rich or not Black's statistically get a harsher sentence then White's. So I guess everything is racial.

they are doing harm in my opinion, although he does face not getting a fair trial because of the allegations.his mega millions might not keep him from getting convicted,or from playing pro ball again,he has sponsors dropping him like a bad suit.its not racial in the least, but the naacp is all he has,i mean,i have read the indictment and i think he is guilty, based on what i have already read.i doubt he will get out from under this one.ill be very surprised if he is not convicted.and it is no mistake,a mistake is something you can learn from like burning a cake, dog torture and dogfighting are intentional actions, not mistakes.does it matter what color someone is or what his worth is when it comes to a federal law against dogfighting and all that is involved?i think not.

first off -- the man, if guilty, didnt make a mistake, he committed a CRIME. a heinous one, at that. few things are lower than executing animals and abusing them for sport. it is truly despicable.
the naacp is looking to protect black men and women from being accused, tried and convicted by the public and the media, presuming that in this instance, Vick is innocent until proven guilty. the story is so widespread that the concern is he might get a biased jury.
everyone gets up in arms and makes racist remarks about vick being a thug, still being ghetto in his behavior and mentality. so much comes up in a story like this that the NAACP tries to have the back of any and all black people and stand up for their rights as americans.
its bizarre to me too, i would think itd be best to distance oneself from him and cut his big deals like nike, or suspend/fire him from football, but the man gets to have a trial and that is important.

Ppl keep complaining about them being there, but what are you going to do? If they feel like their presence is needed then what's the big deal? If you don't feel like it's about race....that's your opinion.
The fact is that none of us know all the details of the case, and we don't know everything that's happening in the courtroom, even behind closed doors. We only know what the media tells us, and half the time the media is fabricating in order to get higher ratings. The media itself is being controlled so.....if the NAACP is there, they must feel they have a reason to be.

really, i think authorites (judge, court) are making a bigger deall that it really is, and probably are being more harsh on him since he is a celeberity....and if their not being as harsh as they are suppose to then it is because money is involved...
