Playing non-flash media instantly on your web site is dead easy:

That's all there is to it!

Have an instantaneous internet connection!
Obviously, the wait time is while the movie is loading onto the user's computer.
You need to compress it, or otherwise edit it to a smaller file size (shorten it, change the resolution, etc.), or even use a different file type to make it load and play faster.
