The glass is not half empty....?
but to me a glass that is half full is funny. Have some fun and tell me what you think I mean
I didn't put the question mark in there, it gets done automatically and apparently can't be undone. I didn't know that till now.

I've played with this, actually.
School bus- half empty is a good thing. Easier to find a seat, the whole seat and take command of the seat.
The icecream bucket -empty (bad thing)
The kitchen sink - empty (good thing)
Gas tank -empty (bad thing)
Laundry basket empty (good thing)
No, I don't like chores.....
This one can be freed up. To say 'half full' isn't strickly a positive and can easily be disproved.
And it does absolulely nothing to show a persons general perspective of the world. Way more needs to be done than that.

The glass is not half empty, it is half consumed. Depending on what was in the glass in the first place, you may slug back the rest... or choose to sip it at your leisure. Either way, there is still a half glass worth to be dealt with. It's your choice whether you wish to appreciate it or merely get it over with.

Half-full is a kind of oxymoron.... if it is half then it can not be full and if it is full then it can not be merely half. The correct phrase is half filled.
