HELP with Outlook Express?

I had a folder created with material that I was saving in that lefthand column of the OE. I found something that shouldn't have been there, clicked delete for that item, and the whole folder disappeared.

I went to the recycle bin, it said it was there, so I clicked restore.

Now it's not in the recycle bin or in the OE.

Any ideas?

Thanks. This was important stuff,, at least to me.

Oh, and I've already tried the system restore and looked through folders in my C drive, too.

Update:

Okay, tried, but when I click OPEN, it just opens the email the curser happens to be sitting on. And that emails not even highlighted.

Update 2:

I just had my own personal miracle. I found it (and don't ask where cause it doesn't even make sense.)

Thanks for the responses, I tried both.

Since this folder has all my son's emails from Iraq I really want to keep it.

Think I'll try putting it on a disc, if I knew how................ Okay, so I'm not computer literate.

Have a great day. I will.

Did you look in the Deleted Items folder? You would have had to delete it twice? Did you do that? If you did unless you made a backup I don't know of any way to recover it. Maybe someone else knows of a way.
