Will we ever see a player like Thierry Henry?
Premier League has lost one of its biggest stars, even thought Im a Chelsea fan, Im very sad that I will miss one of the greatest, and the most entertaining footballer of all time. Do you think we will ever see a player like Henry or will he comeback? Do you miss Henry despite not supporting ArsenaL?

Of course there will. I'm an Arsenal fan and had the pleasure of seeing Henry play live and there is no doubt, he was, and still is a very special talent. However every year times and employees of football clubs change and this sort of question is asked on terraces all over the world.............. "Will Man Utd ever challenge for another trophy after the 1958 Munich air crash???" And look at some of the players that have left their clubs in the English league........... "Who's gonna score for Liverpool now Owen's gone?" "Will Tottenham survive after Gascoigne?" "Will Man Utd survive without Beckham, Cantona, Sheringham, Ince, Van Nistelroy?" There was the passing of a Newcastle legend with Shearer retiring, and these are all big players in the last 10 years. Football is a cyclical business and new talents replace the old. I remember being devestated when both Ian Wright and Nicholas Anelka left Arsenal and wondered where the goals would come from ......... Luckily Mr Henry boarded a plane to Heathrow and the rest is history............ For every tear shed when a hero leaves your club a smile is soon worn when the new one turns up!

There will be others, I remeber the same being said about Cantona when he left English Football. At least Henry spent his best years in the EPL. He won't be the same dominating talent at Barca.

Catona... Van Nistelrooy... Roy Keane maybe? Arsenal seems 2 b performing well without Henry

Nature abhors any sort of vacum. You'll definitely see better players this season for sure. Nothing lasts forever. Pity the Gunners never reckoned with that.

with the EPL being 1 of, if not the best leagues in the world its bound to attract the best, most entertaining players

No maybe I might miss when he retires but I can watch him play at Barca every week, why should I be sad?
