Question for Ford driver?
A while back someone ask a question about a Ford Explorer. They said that they were experiencing a problem with the door ajar light staying on when they used one door, and the windshield wipers running with the switch turned off. I was wondering if they ever found the problem, because I am having the same problem with a 1999 Ford Ranger.
No childish answers please

the door adjar light , the switch is built into the door latch mechanism,so if you oil it up it might start working again, try oiling it and opening and closing the door several times, the wipers work off a ground, power to them all the time when you turn the swicth on low the ground goes thru a resistor causing slow speed, turn it on high and its a ditect ground. so if they wont shut of chances are you will need to replace the wiper motor
