Do you trust SAP resume from Indian consultants?
I've read an article on Indian Times said that 80% of SAP resumes from India are fraud. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/NEWS/India/Resu...
Do you still trust SAP resources from India?
Any tips and tricks in interviewing Indian candidates so that we can find whether their resumes are fraud or not?

It's like having a car with a marshmallow for an engine, if the driver's happy with it then why worry for him.
I know of a couple of people from India who work in the Stock Exchange in London and they'll happily admit their CVs are fake, they dress impeccably for it though :)
but my point is, anyone worth their salt can tell they don't have a clue so if they can carry on going to work every day and getting away with it then the problem is with their firm, not with them.
After all what's a CV.
I know a pakistany guy who can barely check his email, yet he is some kind of manager in a computer repair business!
If he can get away with it then what can I say??

Whats the point in trusting? In your interview, the interviewer should be smart enough to spot the fake and decide whether he wants to hire or not. If the supposedly fake person is doing the job for what he/she was recruited for, What are you whining about? What difference does it make? You are not hiring the consultant long term. You want him for a short term i.e. implement SAP ( USE & THROW). So, what loyalty do you expect? u jokers ! !
If you are so concerned, It is the recruiter/ interviewers lack of knowledge to spot the fake.(unless the interviewer is also a fake ! !LOL)
Another point to all you know-it-all fellas, WILL ANYONE RECRUIT A FRESHER?? It is the demand which drives the supply, if you understand what I mean.
If the clients / implementors stop asking for 5 years experience and recruit based on meritocracy, all this would stop.
So, stop these stupid / irrelevant talk about how people dress- its none of your business.

Insist on using video phone for interview. Fraudulent people tend to shy away from camera. You will also learn if the person you speak with today is really the person show up for work next month.
Have a SAP expert on-hand to help you with the interview. Ask specifics about the application/module that only experienced consultants would know.
Have them give you verifiable references.
Best wishes.
