My cat charred her whiskers off? read more?

Poor kitty... but my cat's done this before too and they grew back, so don't worry...

Clip her whiskers with a scissors below the shriveled up part. Hair doesn't grow from the root out but from the end out. If you leave the shriveled part it's the same as when a human has split ends. The hair stops growing because it can't grow out of the end of it.

Have you noticed her being clumsy? When a cat has it's whiskers trimmed it makes them clumsy until they grow back. I didn't believe this when I first heard it but my cat had her whiskers accidental trimmed off one side and really did seem clumsy for awhile.

Trust me on this though, Clip the burnt ones so they can grow and they will grow back in about a week.

they grow back, they just don't grow as fast as hair does
