Is there a household item that can be used to get glue off of a mirror?

This is glue from the back of tape.

Hair dryer (don't set to max heat) and white spirit. Warm the glue with the hair dryer. Wipe with rag soaked in white spirit.

Source(s): Over 10 years in the glue industry (but not any more).

Scrape it with a razor blade, go at it sideways. That way you won't scratch your mirror. Afterwards you can use some rubbing alcohol to remove any residue. :)
