How do I overcome a caffeine addiction?
I just drank a 2 liter bottle of Vault Soda so I could spend the entire day working out and working in. But now it feels like my belly is dissolving and puke is coming up from my throat. Does anyone have any conventional wisdom I could study so I could master this addiction?

There are a lot of ways to overcome an addiction to any type of drug (and yes, caffeine is a drug). The best ways are slowly lowering your dose (which takes a long time sometimes), or going cold turkey (which is faster, but harder). Either way, the last thing is making the decision to quit, so you'll eventually have to deal with the withdrawal.
For the most part, when you deal with withdrawal, you'll just have to tough it out, but there are some things that can help cleanse out the toxins and may help to minimize some of the effects of withdrawal...
Drinking water will help to detox, and taking some supplements that work as cleansers may help as well. Specifically, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green Tea (decaffeinated), Chlorophyll (fantastic cleanser), and even good amounts of fiber and water helps some people (although it's not very comfortable for the lower level of detoxification you get).
All that being said, it's likely that the symptoms should stop relatively shortly after your last pill (it's never as long as it feels like it is). Your neurotransmitters don't take too terribly long to scream for something they are addicted to after you stop.

Stop cold turkey on a weekend.
Lay in a supply of drinks that have caffeine. Toss out anything that has caffeine in it, including chocolate candy and ice cream and teas and Excedrin, which contains caffeine. Withdrawal symptoms will be most noticeable the first few days. Drink lots of water and take a multivitamin. Once the headache goes a way get exercise. Get a lot of sleep to help with the morning sluggishness and try to get some exercise around 2pm as you will get hit with the mid-afternoon power troff. It will be a good idea to limit your sugar intake as well because the sugar rush will be followed by a crash.
You will crave for 1-2 weeks so be careful where you go.

That doesn't sound healthy at all. Start drinking less and less every day. Tomorrow drink half of what you normally do and so on until you're only drinking a bit. It takes 21 days for something to become a habit, so you should be over your addiction in a month if you start weaning yourself off of it now. Drink water instead :)

all I know is that you'll be miserable if you quit cold turkey. So gradually cut back on the amount of caffeine you have every day.
