The best and only way to get better at English is to practice. Try to watch an English News cast on the Internet or TV and hear what and how they are using words. If you do not know the meaning or are unsure how a word is used in a sentience then look it up or ask someone who knows. Try to use English as much as possible. Like your question should be like this in English....What is a good way to become better at speaking English? I know some English but am not very fluent in the language yet and would like to practice it. ...That would be the better way to say your question. You should also try to use it as much as you can. Do not be afraid to have people who know correct you. That is OK, it is how you learn a new language. I think you are not that bad, I know English is very hard. I dated a girl from Japan that Spoke it about the way you seem to. Yes many people had a hard time understanding her, but I did not. By the time she had to leave and go back to Japan a year latter she was really good. Also try to get hold of some news papers that are in English and read them. That way you can see how the words are often used in a sentence. Best of luck to you sweet heart. :) I think your accent sounds kinda sweet myself :)

The only way is to practice, and ask about things that confuse you. Most people will be understanding about it and try to explain things in a different way, if you ask politely.
Reading helps a lot too. Reading novels is the best way I know to learn the idioms of a language.
