What is the rapture theory about?

This is an idea that has only been around for less then 200 yrs. and it has spread like wild fire,...We must put on the gospel armor and stand against the fiery arrows of Satan, We are soldiers in Christ and he will protect us from the hour of temptation in which Satan will be on the throne claiming to be Christ,.....this is the temptation spoken of, he will be claiming to be Christ spreading prosperity,..causing fire to come from the heavens in the site of man,...deceiving the whole world except God's Elect...........I do want to say one thing for those that believe in the pre trib rapture,.... We must not be afraid to stand,.....did not Christ deliver Daniel out of the Lions DEN?......Did he not deliver the three hebrew children out of the firery furnace..........So don't

be afraid of the hour of temptation he will keep us safe from the temptation..........When Christ comes we will be changed in a twinkle of an eye at the last trump,... Why will we be change in to a spirit body you ask? because we cant contain his full glory so are flesh bodies will fall by the way side,...so remember this one thing when Christ returns are flesh will desolve,.... But if you see a man in the clouds comming down and he says he is Christ,.....and you notice your Body hasn't changed into the spiritual body then you know it is Satan and not The True Christ, we must always remember that Satan will return first,...so if the rapture doesn't happend like you expected, know that you will have to stand against the old Serpent, Lucifer that old devil Satan! ...This is why the Gospel Armer is so important because we are to stand like Soldiers, no retreat no surrender for those that know who Satan is,....they are not temped by him, this is the hour of temptation for those that think he is the Christ,..he will deceive many.... The word "rapture" does not occur in the Bible. The concept of the Rapture, though, is clearly taught in Scripture. The Rapture of the church is the event in which God removes all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out on the earth during the Tribulation period. The Rapture is described primarily in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes the Rapture as God resurrecting all believers who have died, giving them glorified bodies, and then departing the earth with those believers who were still alive, who have also been given glorified bodies. "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 focuses on the instantaneous nature of the Rapture and on the glorified bodies we will receive. "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). The Rapture is the glorious event we should all be longing for. We will finally be free from sin. We will be in God's presence forever. There is far too much debate over the meaning and scope of the Rapture. This is not God’s intent. Rather, in regards to the Rapture, God wants us to “encourage each other with these words.”

without reffering to the verses, the rapture theory is what a lot of christian people preach about...that when jesus is about to come and the last tribulations fall on human beings, the saved are going to dissapear so that they do not suffer while the unsaved suffer these diseases and disasters. However this is false, the saved will go through the tribulations together withthe unsaved and God will protect them.
