herpes??????

hey ihad my first kiss a while ago. well we didn't make out he just kissed me and kinda touched my lips w/ his tongue. can i get herpes from that?

    Yes, you can get oral herpes from kissing, especially if there is a visable cold sore. Never kiss anyone with a cold sore. And to set the record straight, you can Herpes I or 2 on the mouth and vice versa, you can get genital herpes from oral sex. Considering an estimated 80% of the population have oral herpes, you can't live your life in a bubble and never kiss. Just try to be careful and watch for the cold sores!.

    heck yes! Herpes type 1, not the genital type 2. Look up herpes online and learn about it.
